A 3-D digital imaging system formulates a digital image of the face and jaw for a faster, safer and more comfortable x-ray session. Within seconds, Dr. Reyes will have a panoramic image. Because the images are so clear and precise, it can also be used when planning dental implants, analyzing TMJ, and diagnosing and treating periodontal disease. Unlike traditional x-rays, the cone beam produces less radiation (nearly ten times less), which enables us to reduce unnecessary exposure.

An intraoral camera is a lightweight, non-invasive camera that uses state-of-the-art video technology to assist us in your visit. The high-tech cameras allow for Dr. Reyes to make a clearer diagnosis, and assist him during procedures.

When you visit our practice for an appointment, we may need to screen you for tissue abnormalities. The VELscope® system, developed with special tissue florescence technology, allows Dr. Reyes to see early stages of oral cancer. In minutes, he will be able to make a determination as to whether or not any abnormalities are present.

Oraqix® is a needle-free anesthetic that is administered just below your gum line. Unlike traditional anesthetics, it is not injected, but rather applied to your gums, and after 30 seconds, is activated. The numbing effects occur very quickly, and the numbing sensation usually lasts for about 20 minutes. Typically by the end of your appointment, Oraqix® wears off, and you will return to your normal sensation.
