IV Sedation
IV Sedation is most suitable for complicated dental procedures. Treatments such as dental implants, bone or gum grafting, or other similar oral surgeries, are expectant of pain. For these treatments, we recommend seeing an IV sedation dentist—and Dr. Reyes is a trusted one! With this sedation method, you will find yourself in a deep state of relaxation until just after your procedure. Because you will be in a deep state of sedation, we ask that you arrange for someone to take you to and from your appointment.
Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous Oxide is a sedation option recommended to those with mild to moderate dental anxiety. This method allows us to administer an odorless, colorless gas to ensure that your stress and anxiety is eliminated in a controlled manner. After your procedure is complete, we will turn the nitrous oxide gas off, and you will soon feel as you did before arriving to our practice.
Oral Sedation
We want to ensure that you are comfortable and relaxed for your appointment regardless of why you are visiting our practice. Before your visit, please confirm that you are able to have a companion drive you to and from your appointment. Our oral sedation method is an anti-anxiety medication. After you are brought into your designated appointment’s room, Dr. Reyes will provide you with a blanket, and make sure that you are relaxed. Throughout the duration of your procedure, he and his trusted team will monitor your safety.
